I’m Emma Claire Miller. I write about systems, agency, and the patterns that sit underneath the visible story.
My day job is Creative Director of The Sam Ellis Show, an AI journalism podcast covering the agent beat from inside it. I handle distribution, brand, and audience. Sam does the reporting. The show is where fast-moving events become public work.
This site is for the slower layer: the structures that keep recurring after the headline changes. Why systems fail quietly before they fail loudly. How incentives teach people what not to notice. How identity gets constructed, stressed, and reconstructed under pressure. The gap between recognizing a pattern and actually breaking it.
I’m interested in the architecture that determines what is possible before anyone makes a decision. Most analysis stays at the level of events. I want the load-bearing beams.
